Investments in Industrial Park Burgas: New Projects

Two companies have expressed interest in investing in land at "Industrial and Logistics Park – Burgas" AD, announced Burgas Mayor Dimitar Nikolov in a report to the Municipal Council. The investment intentions, which are to be discussed, reflect the desire for the development of the local economy.

"Bio Box" EOOD plans to build a paper production base, and "Hit Stroy K" EOOD intends to purchase about 13 decares for the construction of a workshop for metal structures and reinforcement blanks. It is obvious that the industrial park is attracting interest from different spheres of business, which is a good sign for the potential of the region.

At the proposal of Mayor Nikolov, the municipal councilors in Burgas are to determine their representative, who will participate in the general meeting of shareholders of "Industrial and Logistics Park - Burgas", scheduled for December 10, 2025. The participation of the municipal representative is expected to guarantee the protection of the interests of the local authorities at this key moment.

The first point on the agenda of the general meeting includes the approval of a decision of the Board of Directors of the company for the sale of a property with the aim of realizing new private investments. The starting auction price is over 1 million BGN excluding VAT. Regarding the conditions for future buyers, they provide for a minimum of 40 new jobs and an investment of at least 6.3 million BGN, with a 12-month implementation period. This shows a focus on job creation and stimulation of economic activity.

The second point provides for giving consent to ensure a mandatory own contribution from "Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas" AD on the project "Burgas in support of economic activity", financed under the Program "Development of the Regions" 2021-2027. The amount of the own contribution is 3.6 million BGN and will be used for the construction of a multifunctional building with mixed use for the needs of "Industrial and Logistics Park Burgas".

Within the framework of the project, the improvement of the road infrastructure in the Northern Industrial Zone in Burgas is also planned, with a specific focus on the repair of "Krayezerna" Street. In addition, the project aims to improve the business environment through the implementation of infrastructure measures on the territory of the Industrial and Logistics Park and the Free Customs Zone - Burgas. It seems that the project aims to stimulate comprehensive development, covering not only the industrial park, but also the improvement of infrastructure and jobs.
