Burgas Industrial Zone: A New Economic Boost

Burgas is preparing for a new economic boost with the start of the development of the "South-West" industrial zone. This large-scale project, part of the second phase of the "Burgas Industrial and Logistics Park", will be financed with funds from the Recovery and Resilience Plan, signaling the municipality"s ambitious plans for the development of the local economy.

The investment is aimed at building a complete access and internal technical infrastructure, guaranteeing optimal conditions for new industrial facilities. This includes the construction of a water and sewerage network, modern street lighting, and high-speed optical networks. To ensure seamless connectivity of the new zone with the rest of the city, the municipality of Burgas will renovate "Transportna" street. The infrastructure improvements are expected to stimulate significant economic growth in the region.

The new "South-West" industrial zone, located on an area of over 600 decares, is expected to offer extremely attractive conditions for the development of technological and production capacities. Forecasts indicate the potential for the creation of 700 new jobs, a significant contribution to reducing unemployment in the region.
