Thousands of Bulgarians gathered in Lyon for the tenth edition of the folklore festival "On the square of the other Bulgaria"

The tenth edition of the traveling folklore festival "On the Square of the Other Bulgaria" was held from June 6-8, 2025 in Lyon, France. The forum was organized by the Bulgarian Folklore Group "From the Source" led by Anita Ekenova and brought together over 4000 Bulgarians united in more than a hundred folklore formations from 18 countries. The culmination of the event was the "Great Horo" on the Place de Terreaux square, in which over 4000 participants took part. The event was described as a remarkable achievement aimed at preserving and promoting Bulgarian culture, crafts, and folklore.
