According to official data, Russian troops have fired four guided aviation bombs (KAB) at the central part of the city of Kherson. In addition, they used artillery and drones to shell the city. As a result of these attacks, at least five multi-story residential buildings, one administrative building, and one educational institution building were damaged. Two civilian casualties are known due to the air strike.
The Prosecutor's Office of the Kherson region has initiated pre-trial proceedings in connection with this incident and is taking the necessary actions to establish all the circumstances surrounding the attack. The authorities are urging the local population to observe security measures and take shelter during air raid alerts.

The situation in Kherson remains tense, after the Russian forces withdrew from the city in November 2022. However, they continue to shell the region from their positions on the other side of the Dnieper River. Local authorities warn that the civilian population is still at risk of missile and artillery strikes.
