An innovative national employment program for people with permanent disabilities launches a large-scale initiative to support employers, experts from the Ministry of Labor and Social Policy (MLSP) reported.

The Agency for People with Disabilities announced a competition with an ambitious goal – providing sustainable opportunities for employment for individuals with various functional challenges.

The program includes four key financing areas: ensuring an accessible work environment, modernization of existing work positions, equipping with professional technology, and conducting specialized training.

The financial parameters of support are extremely attractive – employers can receive up to 20,000 leva for workplace adaptation and an additional 2,000 leva for professional training for each employee with disabilities.

Applications are open until September 2 of the current year, with documents accepted every working day until 5:30 PM. Complete information regarding conditions, evaluation criteria, and necessary documents is publicly accessible.

In parallel with this initiative, MLSP announced another large-scale project – building 760 digital clubs in all Bulgarian regions. They will be equipped with computers and internet access, providing free self-learning platforms.

Special priority will be given to disadvantaged groups – adults, women, and representatives of the Roma community who do not have their own access to modern technological resources.
