The first Bread Festival "Bulgarian Spirit" in Burgas marked Dimitrovden. The event offered a rich palette of traditional Bulgarian foods and culinary delights. The festival brought together chefs and guests from across the country.

With a Dimitrovska pitka with apple, banitsa with lamb offal, Strandzha zelnik, ciabatta with savory and olives " ah, how it smelled! " pogacha with unique decorations, various sweets and biscuits, strudel and bread rolls with bacon and caramelized onions – the first “Bulgarian Spirit” bread festival welcomed Dimitrovden in Burgas. The sun shone over the yard of the High School of Tourism “Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov“, where this colorful palette of aromas and flavors unfolded. The organizers from the “Evgeni Mosinov“ foundation had put all their energy into this project, inspired by Bulgarian traditions and customs. The director of the foundation, Iliyana Todinova-Mosinova, emphasized the importance of the initiative, which brought the spirit of the old times to the heart of the city.

The festival was ceremoniously opened by Mayor Dimitar Nikolov. The opening was accompanied by enthusiastic cheers, and those present crowded around the stalls, eager to try the delicious works of art.

Teachers and students of the high school of tourism had prepared a special stand that attracted attention. The Thracian Society also took part, presenting their culinary masterpieces. There were also many amateur cooks who proudly offered their creations.

A culinary workshop was organized for the youngest visitors, where children had the opportunity to touch the magic of cooking. The aroma of freshly baked bread and pastries wafted through the air, attracting curious glances.

Journalist Desislava Georgieva, known to her numerous followers from the culinary you tube channel “Quiet Cooking with Desi“, also participated in the initiative with her own stand. Many took the opportunity to meet her in person and discuss the secrets of delicious cuisine.

A special guest of the holiday was the talented cook and winner of the National Decoration Award, Tihomira Koleva, better known as Miss Cookies. She demonstrated her skills, impressing everyone present with the beauty of her culinary creations.

In addition to delicious surprises, visitors also enjoyed a special festive program that recreated folk traditions and customs. The celebration was bustling with life, and the melodies of Bulgarian folklore resounded in the schoolyard. There were special gifts and surprises for all the Dimitrovs.
