The Faculty of Pedagogy donates books and holds an Open House Day in Burgas.

Lecturers from the Faculty of Pedagogy at Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski" made a donation of 62 new books to the Peyo Yavorov Regional Library in Burgas. The purpose of the donation, carried out by the Dean Assoc. Prof. Dr. Vanya Bozhilova, is to enrich the specialized book collection and facilitate students' access to current scientific literature in the field of pedagogy, adult education, and educational management.

A year ago, the Faculty of Pedagogy began to train students at the branch of Sofia University in Burgas in the specialty "Theory and Management of Education", which was not previously offered in the city. This is an important contribution to the diversification and qualitative upgrading of the academic profile of the region.

Within the framework of the Open Doors Day, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yonka Parvanova gave a public lecture on the topic "The Modern Principal - Challenges and Competencies", which aroused wide interest among students, teachers, and educational specialists. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Yordanka Nikolova presented the diverse opportunities for postgraduate qualifications.

Since its establishment two years ago, the branch of Sofia University in Burgas has managed to expand the training programs offered and attract a number of authoritative faculties of the Alma Mater. This raises the level of academic education in the region and creates sustainable opportunities for local young people to develop professionally without leaving their hometown.
