Escape Room in Burgas: A City Game for an Active Lifestyle

90 participants, divided into 25 teams, took part in an impressive Escape room, which unfolded amidst the lively streets of Burgas. The tension was felt in the air as the teams competed, driven by the desire to win.

The city game, entitled "Burgas, Get Moving!", was organized by Burgas Municipality, jointly with BG Be Active and Timescape. This event was part of a larger project: "Rejuvenate the City: Innovative measures in response to urban challenges to the quality of life and health of the community" (RELAUNCHTOWIN № EUI01-097), which is funded by the European Urban Initiative. The support from the European Union underlines the importance of the initiative to improve the urban environment and promote an active lifestyle.

The competition put the participants to a series of tests. They had to solve complex riddles, show creativity, and some even sweated from the effort, striving towards the finish. The route passed through the heart of the city, including key locations. The starting point was "Troykata" square, and the finish was near the emblematic Sea Casino in Primorski Park. The excitement of the race filled the city.

The first three teams managed to complete the game in an impressive time under 90 minutes, demonstrating remarkable skills and speed. The "Puzzle" team deservedly took first place, showcasing impressive knowledge of a sustainable lifestyle and green urban solutions. Their strategy and resourcefulness were exceptional, allowing them to pass through all stages in under 50 minutes. A deserved award for the winners, who were over 18 years old, were invitations to the prestigious cinema-literary festival "CineLibri".

The event left a lasting positive impact. Participants of all ages expressed their satisfaction with the experience, sharing the euphoria of successful participation and the memories created. The atmosphere was filled with enthusiasm and joy from the challenge and joint efforts.
