A nine-year-old child was injured after being hit on a pedestrian crossing in Burgas. The incident occurred yesterday, shortly after 5:00 PM, on "Angel Dimitrov" street in the "Sarafovo" quarter.

According to information received from our sources, a car with Burgas registration, driven by a 47-year-old man, failed to yield to the child, who was crossing the street on a pedestrian crossing. The collision was unavoidable.

There was tension at the scene. Spectators had gathered, trying to understand what had happened. Emergency medical teams arrived quickly.

The injured girl suffered a head injury and an injury to her left elbow joint. Fortunately, according to information from medical personnel, the child is not in life-threatening condition. She was immediately transported for examination to the University Hospital – Burgas, where additional examinations and care will be performed. The police launched an investigation into the incident to determine all the circumstances surrounding the event.
