The social services in Burgas actively participated in the second edition of the festival "Guide to Goodness" in Razgrad - the only event in Bulgaria that unites social workers and users of social services. A total of 52 social services and 500 participants took part in the festival. The representatives from Burgas, including the Home for the Elderly "Tsevta and Anka Varbanova", the Protected Home for Persons with Mental Disorders, the Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration for Persons with Mental Disorders, and the Protected Home for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities, participated in the two main panels of the event - an exhibition of applied arts and presentation of effective social models.
At the awards ceremony, the four social services from Burgas were recognized in different categories. The Center for Social Rehabilitation and Integration of Persons with Mental Disorders took second place in the category "Social Services in the Community for Adults". The Home for the Elderly "Tsevta and Anka Varbanova" won first place in the category "Residential-type Social Services for Adults", while the Protected Home for Persons with Mental Disorders took second place in the same category. The Protected Home for Persons with Intellectual Disabilities received a special award from the "Genesis" Agency.

The "Guide to Goodness" festival is organized by the "Genesis" Agency and the "Bulgarian Cross-Border Mediation Institute" Association, under the patronage of the Mayor of Razgrad and with the assistance of the Municipality of Razgrad.
