Burgas Students Awarded in "Europe Through My Eyes" Contest

On May 9th, on the occasion of Europe Day, students from Burgas were awarded for their participation in the "Europe Through My Eyes" contest, organized by the Municipality of Burgas, the Center for Personal Development Support, and the Regional Information Center. The event supports the city's bid to become the European Capital of Culture in 2032. Mayor Dimitar Nikolov presented the awards and highlighted the importance of unity and solidarity in Europe. In various categories, participants presented works in visual arts, local studies, and multimedia presentations that reflect their views on Burgas and Europe. Among the awardees were Elena Georgieva with a visual arts project and Niya Mastikova with her composition about her hometown. The awards were presented at the "Sea Casino" Cultural Center in the presence of the regional governor and other officials.
