Burgas Legalizes the Territorial Development of "Ostritsa" - Key Urban Planning Plan

The local administration of Burgas has achieved significant progress in urban planning, unanimously voting on an important urban planning document for the settlement territories "Ostritsa 1" and "Ostritsa 2". The project, which is the result of a six-year intensive dialogue, aims to comprehensively regulate the rapidly developing area.

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov emphasized the exceptional importance of the adopted plan, which provides for the construction of modern infrastructure. "Over the past six years, we have held five public consultations, accompanied by numerous discussions regarding property rights," the mayor stated.

Among the main advantages of the new urban planning document are the expansion of the street network, ensuring adequate transport corridors, and the construction of necessary utility systems. Water supply and electrical distribution infrastructure will be significantly improved, which will enhance the quality of life in the area.

Nikolov made an explicit request to property owners in the zone to cooperate in implementing the plan by removing their existing fences. It was additionally emphasized that the document gains special importance given the increasing fires in the region.

The plan provides for phased implementation of project activities. Initially, a water pipeline will be designed, followed by the start of street network construction, technical infrastructure, and green spaces. Special points for household waste disposal will also be designated.

This urban planning document is the only lasting solution for the comprehensive development of the territories "Ostritsa 1" and "Ostritsa 2", guaranteeing their future sustainable urban development.
