Burgas will host the National Breakdancing Championship

On May 31, 2025, Burgas will host the National Breakdancing Championship, which will take place on the stage of the Summer Theater. Over 100 licensed competitors from Sofia, Dobrich, Vratsa, Razgrad, and Burgas will participate in individual battles, team challenges, and unique show performances. The participants will be divided into age groups - 6-9 years, 10-12 years, 13-15 years, 16-18 years, 19-34 years, and 35+ years, and will demonstrate top skills, style, and creativity.

The performances will be evaluated by a jury composed of proven professionals in the breakdance scene: Judge MARTY (Martin Mutlyashki), Judge KRASI (Krasimir Hristov), Judge BiG Eye (Ivan Vanchev), and Head Judge Denis Peychev. The event hosts will be Anatoli Dzhonov (Jokata) and Kalin Kalinov (Chuzz), and the music will be provided by DJ Lalri (Dimitar Andreev) and DJ Delyan Tempo (Delyan Peykov).

The winners in each age category will be awarded medals, diplomas, and trophies, recognizing their efforts and talent. The event is organized by the Municipality of Burgas with the support of the Bulgarian Breakdance Federation, the Ministry of Youth and Sports, the Municipal Enterprise "International Youth Cultural Center" - Burgas, the Burgas Breakdance Club Black Style Squad, and the Sports Department of the Municipality of Burgas. The championship supports Burgas' bid for the European Capital of Culture 2032, demonstrating the connection between culture and sports.
