Summer in Burgas is gaining momentum, and the events on the city calendar are under the motto "Something for everyone". The last thematic weekend for June will be marked by the Choral Festival for Mixed and Homogeneous Choirs "Let It Be Summer...", initiated by the Chitalishte "Far 1946" - Burgas and the "Art Music" Association, with the financial support of the Municipality of Burgas. The event supports Burgas's candidacy for European Capital of Culture in 2032. The first festival of its kind in the city in June 2023 gave the opportunity for six mixed and homogeneous choirs from all over the country to perform, enriched the cultural calendar, and created numerous fans of choral art. This year, during the three festival days, the Burgas audience and the city's guests will enjoy three concerts - at the National Palace of Culture, on the Open Stage "Snail" in Primorski Park, and at the Gala Concert again at the National Palace of Culture.
World-class sports will be another summer passion in Burgas. Fans from Bulgaria and the world are coming to the city to watch the live matches of the Volleyball Nations League, which start on June 25 and will continue until July 29 at the Arena Burgas hall. Tickets can be purchased on the Eventim.bg network.
If you want to spend the day outdoors and have fun with fresh, young people, Greenburg Fest 2025 is for you. The second edition of the festival will be held on June 28 (Saturday) from 1:00 PM in the Mineral Baths Park - Burgas, with musical performances, an eco-exhibition, and other interesting activities. On June 29, the organizers invite you to an action to clean up the park.
Literature will also find a well-deserved place in the rich program of the Municipality of Burgas for the upcoming weekend. The newest and unique FANTASTIC BURGAS festival, focused on speculative literature and the technologies of the future, will be held on June 27, Friday, at the Library. At the festival, there will also be the first presentation to the Burgas audience of the new novel by the science fiction writer Marin Troshanov - "The Tale of Karina and Gabriel" - a fantasy story inspired by classic European fairy tales and brought to life by the magical touch of the legendary artist Petar Stanimiroff.
Another colorful event will take place at the Flora Exhibition Center. On June 27 and 28, the next edition of the "Seasons" Art Festival will be held there, organized by the Chitalishte "Probuda 1880" and the Municipality of Burgas. The event will start on Friday at 10:00 AM, and on Sunday, there will be a grand gala concert and awards ceremony at 6:30 PM.
