Eurovision 2027: Burgas begins preparations

Preparation of the grounds around "Arena Burgas" for hosting "Eurovision 2027" is already underway. The Director General of BNT, Milena Milotinova, confirmed that heavy machinery has already been gathered on site to level the areas needed for television equipment.

"We can say that we are even ahead of schedule, which is an excellent test for the start of our joint work," Milotinova stated after a meeting with Mayor Dimitar Nikolov.

Large-scale mobilization in Burgas Municipality

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov has taken serious measures to ensure the logistical support for the project:

• Power supply lines are being built, and the area is undergoing landscaping.
• The municipal team is working in a state of full mobilization, with staff leaves and personal commitments suspended.
• Negotiations are underway to utilize the port, the city center, and the Sea Garden.

The final plan for the zones is expected to be ready by the end of September, following the finalization of talks with the EBU (European Broadcasting Union).
