Burgas Insists on Repair of Key Road Sections

Mayor Dimitar Nikolov held a meeting with Minister Ivan Ivanov to discuss the urgent need to repair four important state roads in the Burgas municipality. These include the road to Gorno Ezerovo, Burgas-Sarafovo, the road to Dolno Ezerovo, and the Prisad-Dimchevo-Marinka section.

For the road to Gorno Ezerovo, the Regional Road Administration - Burgas is developing a project for a complete reconstruction, with the first two stages already completed. The Municipality of Burgas has expressed its willingness to co-finance the project, covering the costs of land expropriation, in order to speed up the repairs. In the meantime, the municipality will begin emergency repairs on the most critical sections.

Mayor Nikolov insisted on quick repairs to the Burgas-Sarafovo road as well, given the approaching summer tourist season. The municipality is ready to co-finance this project too. For the road to Dolno Ezerovo, the municipality has already prepared a project, which is awaiting approval from the Road Infrastructure Agency. The project for the Prisad-Dimchevo-Marinka road is also under development.

Minister Ivanov has committed to assisting in accelerating the approval and implementation procedures for the projects.
