Burgas and India discussed cooperation in the field of technology, culture and education.

Today, on May 23, 2025, the Mayor of Burgas Dimitar Nikolov held a meeting with the newly appointed Ambassador of the Republic of India to Bulgaria Arun Kumar Sahu. During the constructive conversation, the two sides discussed opportunities for expanding cooperation in the field of high technologies, culture, and education. Specific initiatives for academic exchange between medical universities in Burgas and India, as well as the inclusion of Ayurveda in the curriculum, were considered. The meeting was held in a spirit of mutual respect and a desire to deepen the partnership between Burgas and India through the implementation of joint projects and the exchange of expert experience.
