The Autumn Literary Celebrations in Burgas Opened Their Doors with a Celebration of Words and Music

In the cozy setting of the House of the Writer, the event dedicated to World Poetry and Music Day, launched the Autumn Literary Celebrations. The atmosphere was filled with anticipation as poems by Burgas authors came to life performed by Hristo Simeonov, Nevena Tsaneva and Hristo Dimitrov-Mladshi. Their voices turned the evening into a true celebration of the word.

The combination of poetry and music was enriched by the duet "Paradox", whose performances added new colors to the autumn palette. The chords, woven into poetry, unfolded the senses to the beauty of art.

Poet, writer, and musician Petar Chuhov, recipient of numerous prestigious national and international literary awards, was invited as a special guest at the opening of the Autumn Literary Celebrations 2025. With this harmonious union between verse and sound, autumn in Burgas began not only calendar-wise, but also spiritually. The celebration promised more meetings, inspirations, and celebrations of the spirit.

The event was attended by Diana Savateva, Deputy Mayor "Culture and Religious Affairs", the chairman of the Municipal Council of Burgas, Mihail Hadjiyaev, and the director of the "Burgas 2032" Foundation, Ruska Boyadzhieva.

Program of the Autumn Literary Celebrations – Burgas 2025

The celebrations, whose program spans several weeks, will be held at the House of the Writer, 3 Vola St.

• On September 29, at 6:00 PM, at the "Morsko Kazino" Cultural Center, "Petya Dubarova" Hall, the presentation of Vladimir Levchev's new book "Geography of Sleep" is scheduled. The presentation will be led by Jacqueline Toleva, and Milena Kolarova will be at the grand piano.
• On October 1, again at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the official opening of the Autumn Literary Celebrations will take place. The special guest will be Petar Chuhov.
• On October 2, also at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, an Evening of the Guest will be held, dedicated to Petar Chuhov and his work "At the End of the Bed". The presentation will be led by Roza Boyanova.
• On October 3, Friday, at the House of the Writer, the poetry collection "Sand Winds" by Hayri Hamdan will be presented. The host of the event will be Milka Ivanova.
• On October 7, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the book "On the Eve of February 31" by Natalia Nedyalkova will be presented.
• On October 8, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the book "Bird Silence" by Elena Stoycheva will be presented.
• On October 9, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the novel "Shores of Bohemia" by Rumen Denev will be presented.
• On October 13, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the poetry collection "R" by Roza Maksimova and "Unreceived Letter" by Alexander Kulik will be presented.
• On October 14, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the book "Literary Legends and Contemporary Readings" by Roza Boyanova will be presented, which includes memories of writers and reviews of books.
• On October 15, at 6:00 PM, there will be a performance in words and music "Directions of Love", with the participation of Tatyana Yotova, Mariana Marinova and Tony Marx.
• On October 17, at 6:00 PM, the books "The Case of Life or the Dream of the World" and "Jimmy's Diary" by Sasho Serafimov, Dobrich, will be presented.
• On October 20, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the book "All Our Faces" by Slavi Tomov will be presented.
• On October 21, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the book "Light in the Keyhole" by Elena Yaneva will be presented.
• On October 22, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the book "Anarchy of the Heart" by Alexander Ivanov will be presented.
• On October 23, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the novel "Zdr, ko pr?" by Violeta Zlatareva will be presented.
• On October 24, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the 90th anniversary of Boris Buhchev will be celebrated, with the presentation of a Novel in Verses.
• On October 27, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the collection "Sea Crabs" by Club "Sea Crabs" will be presented.
• On October 28, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, a Poetry Festival "Bulgarian and a Resident of Burgas" will take place, with the presentation of poems by Burgas poets about Burgas. The event will be accompanied by an exhibition with studies of iconic places and buildings in the seaside town. The moderator will be Diana Furtunova.
• On October 29, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, the poetry collection "Sea and Childhood" by Liliya Hristova will be presented.
• On October 30, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, Nedyalko Yordanov will celebrate 45 years since the creation of the magazine "More". Issues 2 and 3 for 2025 will be presented.
• On October 31, at 6:00 PM, at the House of the Writer, a prose evening will take place with the participation of authors, members of SBPO. The organizer of the event is Slavi Tomov.

The event will be closed with the official closing of the Autumn Literary Celebrations – 2025.
