Tomorrow, on June 12 at 5:30 pm, a public lecture on the topic "Bulgaria on the Threshold of the Eurozone - the Benefits of Membership in a Monetary Union" will be held at the NHK Cultural Center in Burgas. The event is organized on the initiative of the Chairman of the Burgas Municipal Council, Mihail Hadzhiyanov.
The lecture will be led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ivaylo Mihaylov - a lecturer in the Department of Marketing at the Burgas Free University "Prof. Dr. Asen Zlatarov" and a Ph.D. in Economics from the University of National and World Economy - Sofia. Assoc. Prof. Mihaylov will present a detailed analysis of key topics related to Bulgaria's membership in the Eurozone, followed by an open discussion with the participation of all attendees.

During the lecture, the economic and social benefits of membership in the monetary union, the challenges facing the country in the adaptation process, the expected impact on businesses, the financial system, and citizens, as well as the degree of institutional and macroeconomic readiness of Bulgaria will be examined. The lecturer will also present findings and conclusions from the convergence report.
