Burgas to host prestigious sports and cultural events in May

In May, Burgas will host several prestigious sports and cultural events. From May 15 to 18, the European Rhythmic Gymnastics Cup will be held at the Arena Burgas Hall, with the participation of over 130 competitors from 12 countries. The first two days of the event will be free, and on May 17 and 18, spectators will enter with purchased tickets. The competition will include team events for juniors and seniors, as well as individual performances. Among the Bulgarian gymnasts participating are Antoaneta Tsankova in the junior category and Eva Brezalieva in the senior category. From May 16 to 18, the International Swimming Tournament "Grand Prix Burgas" will be held at the Park Arena OZK Pool, which is a qualification event for the 2025 World Championships in Singapore. The event is organized by the Municipality of Burgas and the Bulgarian Swimming Sports Federation. The official opening will be on May 16, and the finals and award ceremony will take place on May 18. On May 17 (Saturday), a Specialized Dog Show for German Shepherd Dogs will be held at the equestrian base in Park Ezero, organized by the Association for German Shepherd Dogs with the assistance of the Municipality of Burgas. The exhibition will be open at 9:00 AM, and the awards ceremony will take place at 5:00 PM. Participants from Turkey, Romania, and Serbia are expected to attend. On the same day, May 17, from 9:00 AM, the closing of the municipal campaign "Sports for Every Child" will be held at the Park Arena OZK playing fields, with the participation of over 200 children from Burgas schools.
