Burgas host of the first edition of Black Sea Game Summit - a two-day event uniting the gaming community

On June 27 and 28, Burgas will host the first edition of the Black Sea Game Summit - a two-day event organized by CreaTech Bulgaria in partnership with the Municipality of Burgas. The event will bring together video and board game creators, indie developers, artists, game designers, cosplay artists, streamers, musicians, game influencers, representatives of studios and publishers, as well as the Bulgarian gaming community.

The program of the Black Sea Game Summit includes various highlights, including an international conference with over 20 speakers from leading game dev associations, studios and companies from Bulgaria and Europe. The lecture program will cover key topics from the game industry - from policies and business models to technology, education and creativity.

Parallel to the conference, visitors will be able to explore an exhibition area with the participation of companies and studios, including a special indie corner, where young and independent creators will present their games. The audience will be among the first to have the opportunity to test them, and the area will provide a space for open dialogue between developers and gamers.

Among the most anticipated moments of the event is the concert with video game music, performed by Maria Anastasova (Melethiel) and Ivailya Todorova (Azira) from Duet Verya. Maria Anastasova is a BAFTA Award winner for Best Music, and Ivailya Todorova is a young harpist, a laureate of international competitions.

One of the culminating moments will be the cosplay competition, organized by Honest Cosplay, which will bring together the best cosplay artists in the country. An impressive stage show with costumes inspired by favorite characters and an authoritative jury is expected.

During the Black Sea Game Summit, a special area for board games will also be organized, in collaboration with the Board Game Club Aurora - Burgas. Fans will have the opportunity to meet one of the most popular Bulgarian game influencers - Vasil Kalinchev, known as xXShadowHexXx, who will participate in a special meet & greet session.
