On May 31, from 11:30 to 16:30, a charitable cultural event organized by the Lions Club "Via Pontica" with the support of the Municipality of Burgas will be held in the area near the Pantheon in Burgas. The main purpose of the initiative is to collect hair donations that will be used to make wigs for children undergoing chemotherapy. The symbolic act of donating a lock of hair (minimum 30 cm) will be a sign of solidarity with these children.
The event program includes folklore and musical performances by students, local artists and ensembles, such as bagpipe performance, pianist, singers, and dance troupes. Guests will also be able to visit a charity fair with homemade delicacies and handmade items. All the funds raised will be donated to help children with cancer.
Between 11:30 and 14:00, Dr. Tsvetelina Ivanova, a radiation therapist at the Oncology Center - Burgas, will be available for conversations and consultations related to the prevention and treatment of oncological diseases. The event will be captured by photographer Galina Paskaleva-Ruscheva, and visitors will be able to learn about the club's activities and make a donation.
