Students from the Profiled Natural Sciences and Mathematics High School "Acad. Nikola Obreshkov" in Burgas, graduating in 2025, organized a charity initiative in support of the Neonatology Department of the local university hospital. The funds in the amount of 10,000 leva were collected from a farewell concert, in which all 12 classes of the graduating class participated.
Representatives of the graduating class handed over the donation to Dr. Stilyana Tomova, head of the neonatology department. These funds will be used to purchase specialized medical equipment that will assist in the diagnosis and treatment of premature babies, patients of the department.
The initiative is assessed as an expression of compassion, social responsibility, and an inspiring example of uniting around a worthy cause. One of the children involved in the handover of the donation shared that they were a patient of the department 19 years ago and is alive today thanks to the efforts of the doctors.

Dr. Stilyana Tomova thanked the students, presenting them with a special calendar with models of premature babies who subsequently developed into healthy children. The high school and the department express gratitude to all who supported the initiative - students, parents, teachers, and citizens.
