Bulgarian pilots at the center of the new documentary film of BNT

The new documentary project of the Bulgarian National Television will focus on the role of the Bulgarian pilots during the air raids on the country in the fall of 1943 and the beginning of 1944. The director of the film is a journalist from BNT, and it will include historical interviews, archival footage, and memories of participants or their families.

It is expected that "Direct Target - Bulgaria" will be included in the television program in the fall of 2025. The motive for creating the film is to preserve the memory of the role of the Bulgarian pilots, which is often a neglected part of the national history.
