The railway company "BDZ - Passenger Transport" EOOD is putting into operation three new locomotives, named after prominent Bulgarian revival figures - the writer Ivan Vazov and the revolutionaries Teophan Rainov and Radi Ivanov. This is a continuation of a previous initiative, where the first fifteen locomotives of the same series were named after Bulgarian rulers.
Each of the new locomotives will have a QR code that will lead passengers to a special section on the official BDZ website. There they will be able to learn about the life and work of the individuals whose names the machines bear, as well as their contribution to the development of rail transport in Bulgaria.
