A Bulgarian puppet show triumphs in the heart of Berlin

The artistic ensemble of the State Puppet Theater - Burgas achieved an impressive success during their performance in the German capital. The play "Where Are You Going, Little Horse?", based on a work by Rada Moskova, attracted exceptional interest among the audience at the renowned Schaubude Berlin theater.

Director Borislav P. Petrov, who simultaneously leads the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Germany, masterfully recreated the literary work. The production was met with enthusiastic applause from the packed hall, which was predominantly filled with Bulgarian families settled in the German metropolis.

After the finale of the performance, the actors engaged in direct communication with the audience, giving autographs and sharing their creative impressions. A special highlight of the event was the presence of His Excellency Grigor Porozhanov, the Bulgarian Ambassador to Germany, who personally congratulated the artistic collective.

In addition to the performance, the organizers planned a unique creative workshop scheduled for June 27. During the event, participants will receive expert knowledge about various puppet theater techniques and types of puppets, which represents an exceptional opportunity for children and parents to delve into the secrets of this ancient scenic genre.

The initiative is being realized at the invitation of the Bulgarian Cultural Institute in Berlin, as part of a comprehensive strategy to promote Bulgarian art beyond national borders.
