Within the last day of the meeting of representatives of World Trade Centers from Europe, hosted by the BCCI, the discussion on current and essential topics for the participants continued. The focus was on the possibilities for multi-functional use of buildings and real estate within the world trade centers. Ahmed Nasser, founder and director of Antika World, presented the transformation of the Central Universal Store in Sofia and discussed with the participants good practices in other countries and world trade centers for multi-functional use of business buildings.
At the end of the conference, the Chairman of the BCCI, World Trade Center Sofia - Associated, Tsvetan Simeonov, thanked the participants for their active presence and handed over the baton to the next WTC, host of the European Conference. The hosting of the next European regional meeting will be carried out by WTC Ballerup, Denmark, whose CEO, Henriette Bjerke Persen, presented elements of the program of the meeting in 2026 in an innovative location, aimed at national and international trade exchange, in the Copenhagen region.
The World Trade Center, host of the meeting in 2027, was also presented - in the Armenian capital Yerevan. Ed Allison-Wright, a representative of WTC Gibraltar, shared that the role of the Association of World Trade Centers is becoming more and more relevant today in support of trade relations and boundless opportunities.
The Balkans are a region full of start-up companies, eager to develop competitive, innovative and technologically literate businesses. The meeting was assessed as very successful and fruitful for all participants. The conference program ended with a cultural program and a visit to the main attractions in the center of our capital.
