The Bulgarian cargo drone company Dronamics receives up to 30 million euros from the EU.

On June 16, 2025, the media bne IntelliNews reported that Dronamics, a Bulgarian cargo drone company, has been selected for funding by the European Innovation Council (EIC) under the STEP (Strategic Technologies for Europe Platform) program. The company will receive up to 30 million euros, which it will invest in expanding its technological capabilities, pilot projects, and commercial deployments.

The support from the EIC will provide Dronamics with strategic access to the European market, increased competitiveness, and opportunities to scale its solutions. The goal is to accelerate the development of autonomous drones for transportation and logistics, aimed at building a green and efficient European delivery network.
