Bulgaria: The New Hub for Innovation and Artificial Intelligence

Minister of Innovation and Digital Transformation Ivan Vasilev stated that Bulgaria has the potential to be a leading factor in the global technological debate. During a conference with Bulgarian ambassadors, he emphasized that the country's goal is to transition to a high value-added economy.

"I believe that technology is not an enemy, but a means to achieve more with less. The future will be dominated by technology, but it will be built by people," Vasilev declared.

Key development priorities:

  • Digitalization of services: Optimizing administrative processes for citizens and businesses through the implementation of AI.
  • European Space Agency: Active negotiations for associate membership and development of the "Dobroslavtsi" business zone for space technologies.
  • Vision 2030: Bulgaria as the best place in Europe to start a high-tech business.

Vasilev called on the diplomatic corps for active cooperation in promoting Bulgaria's innovation potential on the international stage.
