Bulgaria has the potential to be a leader in areas such as space technologies, artificial intelligence, aviation, cybersecurity, and robotics, said the Minister of Innovation and Growth, Irena Mladenova.
During the establishment of the "Your Wings" cluster at the BCCI, Minister Mladenova emphasized the importance of the new initiative, which unites key sectors such as aviation, innovation, high technologies, business, science, and education. The cluster focuses on young people and the development of talent in the aviation, space, and high-tech sectors.
"I believe that the 'Your Wings' cluster will become a platform for bold space ideas and a driving force for innovation in aviation, space applications, and autonomous systems," said Mladenova. She added that the Ministry of Innovation and Growth (MIG) supports new technologies, modernization, and digitalization of business.
The founders of the cluster include key organizations from the sector. Among the main goals are stimulating research activities, technology transfer, implementation of innovative solutions, development of AI solutions, strengthening cybersecurity, promoting digitalization and sustainable technologies, as well as building a strategic vision for the development of these areas in Bulgaria.
Other key figures from different fields also attended the event. In addition, BTA recalls an information day dedicated to the activities of the EU Agency for the Space Programme (EUSPA), where Bulgarian companies and organizations received information about opportunities for research and development.
