The meeting between Trump and Zelensky took place during the annual meeting of the leaders of the world's leading economic powers, held in the Canadian resort of Kananaskis. The two discussed mainly the ongoing war of Russia against Ukraine, as well as the growing tensions in the Middle East. A White House representative confirmed to the Reuters agency that topics related to security, international support for Ukraine, and strategic cooperation between Washington and Kyiv are expected to be among the main highlights in the remaining sessions of the forum.
