In the area of the village of Chernoochene along route I-5 Kardzhali - GKPP Makaza, flexible limiters will be installed, which will divide the directions of movement and limit the possibility of improper overtaking. The activities will cover two sections with a total length of about 4 km and are expected to be completed by August 30.
In Haskovo region, along route I-5 Dimitrovgrad - Haskovo and route II-76 near the village of Knyazhevo, a noise marking will be laid, which will complete the implementation of short-term measures to secure the sections with a concentration of road accidents.
In Plovdiv region, along route II-56 Kalekovec - Plovdiv, in the area of p.v. "Skobeleva mother", a 340-meter section will be secured, with signs installed, markings laid and the limiting systems replaced.
In Stara Zagora region, along route I-5 between Stara Zagora and Zmeyovo, a 5-kilometer section will be repaired. The traffic will be carried out in both directions on the lane for Kazanlak, and after the repair it will pass into the lane for Stara Zagora. In the area of the Roman Bridge at km 222, a traffic light system will be installed. The repair work is expected to be completed by the end of June.
On route I-2 Shumen - Varna in Shumen region, road signs will be installed before and in the roundabout for Panayot Volovo, and from June 9 to 15, a noise marking will be laid and rubber dividing bollards will be installed.
On route I-7 at the intersection of the ring road of Shumen with the municipal road for the Divdyadovo district, the final installation of the road signs and the laying of the markings are forthcoming by June 15.
The Road Infrastructure Agency has published on its website a map of the sections with a concentration of road accidents and an Action Plan for securing these sections, so that citizens can get acquainted with the measures taken.
