Today, October 4, 2025, "Troykata" square in the center of Burgas turned into an arena of incredible strength and will. The National Powerlifting Championship, which started at 12:00, part of the calendar of the Bulgarian Federation of Strong Athletes "Iron Men", brought together the best competitors in the country, who compete in several classic disciplines.

Program in action


The competition, which started at 12:00 and will continue until 18:00, has already demonstrated impressive performances in front of Tria City Center. The participants compete in:
- Loglift for maximum lifting of a barbell over the chest
- Lifting the "Atlas Stone" (130 kg) for repetitions
- "Handcart" – pushing a heavy cart at a distance
- Power relay, including "Giant dumbbell" and "Wheels of Apollo"

Participants and current atmosphere


Six of the strongest national athletes are participating in the competition, including champions in heavy categories and young promising talents. The organizers created an unforgettable spectacle with professional sound, a commentary studio and additional attractions for the audience.

The participants are divided into two divisions – Open and Masters, each of whom strives for the overall ranking. The first three in each discipline and the final ranking will receive medals and cash prizes.

The audience and the organization


Access to the competition is free, and hundreds of spectators are already watching from the designated areas in front of the stage. The organizers provided additional parking spaces and temporary traffic closures around Tria City Center.

Special guest of the event is the European powerlifting champion for 2024, who demonstrates his technique and gives a short master class for young athletes.
