On September 3 at 6:00 PM, the "Warsaw Poster" exhibition will officially open in the "Georgi Baev" Hall of the Sea Casino Cultural Center. The exhibition is dedicated to the work of contemporary Polish authors—professors and distinguished artists who are closely associated with the Academy of Fine Arts in Warsaw.

The event features exactly 40 works by the following authors:

  • Maciej Buszewicz, Anna Welunska, Agnieszka Cieslikowska, and Piotr Garlicki;
  • Justyna Czerniakowska, Pawel Osial, Paulina Derecka, and Monika Hanulak;
  • Lech Majewski, Blazej Ostoja Lniski, Mateusz Machalski, Edyta Majewska, and Ola Kot.

Among the special guests of the project are Lech Majewski, Justyna Czerniakowska, and Ryszard Kajzer. They are established figures in the contemporary Polish poster school and professors at the Warsaw institution. Lech Majewski is a key figure in advertising graphics, drawing, and publishing; he serves as Dean of the Faculty of Graphic Arts and is the designer of the logo for all Polish Institutes worldwide. Justyna Czerniakowska, a graduate of Prof. Majewski's studio, is a designer and professor of typography, while also serving as an active member of the organizing committee of the International Poster Biennale in Warsaw.

The third special guest, Ryszard Kajzer, works extensively in the fields of illustration and publishing graphics, with his works held in significant museum and gallery collections across Europe and Asia. His wealth of professional experience includes leading specialized poster workshops in numerous cities, including Stuttgart, Helsinki, Budapest, Oradea, Bucharest, San Luis Potosi, and Mexico City.

The "Warsaw Poster" exhibition serves as a companion event to a masterclass in which students from the National Academy of Arts will develop their own poster projects under the direct guidance of the three Polish experts. The initiative encourages creative exchange between the established Polish school and young Bulgarian designers and artists, providing the audience with the opportunity to follow the development of new ideas and visual solutions. The project is realized through the joint efforts of the National Academy of Arts, Burgas Municipality, the International Triennial of Stage Poster – Sofia, and the Poster Biennale in Warsaw.
