The creative industry in Bulgaria reveals a 25-year history of innovation and success.

On June 6, 2025, a historical exhibition related to the development of the creative industry in Bulgaria for the period 2004-2024 was opened in Burgas. The exhibition, located on Troika Square in front of the building of the National Palace of Culture, is the result of a partnership between the Bulgarian Association of Communication Agencies (BACA) and the Municipality of Burgas.

The Chairman of BACA, Chavdar Kenarov, and the Director of the Culture and Public Relations Directorate of the Municipality of Burgas, Vesela Yordanova, officially opened the exhibition. "We are happy that in the Municipality of Burgas we have found a true partner, and this exhibition is another successful joint initiative. Such a selection is presented for the first time in Bulgaria and can only be seen in Burgas," said Kenarov.

The retrospective traces the most highly valued advertising projects created in Bulgaria over the past 25 years, including the six Grand Prix awarded throughout the history of FARA. "The exhibition has research value, because in addition to the best advertising created in Bulgaria, the viewer can see how the topics, the use of media channels, and the communication environment have changed as a whole," added Kenarov.

Vesela Yordanova, Director of the Culture and Public Relations Directorate of the Municipality of Burgas, expressed hope that the partnership between the city and FARA will continue in the coming decades. "We have no doubt where the FARA destination will be. Our partnership began in 2024, and I wish that in 2034 we will together open an exhibition dedicated to the decade that outlined the partnership between Burgas and FARA," she shared.

The exhibition "The Best of FARA" will be hosted in Burgas until July 5, 2025. It is part of the rich accompanying program of the 25th edition of FARA, which is currently taking place in the Congress Center of the city. The program on June 6 includes lectures, discussions, and creative workshops dedicated to current topics such as artificial intelligence, sustainable development, and challenges facing the advertising industry.

A special focus in the program is the participation of the Black Sea International Literary Festival, which is hosting FARA with a number of literary readings and meetings with authors from Bulgaria and abroad.
