Tour: The Music of Spain and Latin America by Sinfonietta-Vratsa

A world of emotion, temperament and beauty awaits the Bulgarian audience within the framework of the musical tour of Sinfonietta-Vratsa, presenting "The Music of Spain and Latin America". The orchestra, together with distinguished guest soloists, will tour five Bulgarian cities, offering music lovers an unforgettable musical experience, the orchestra announced for BTA.

The concerts promise to be a journey through some of the most beloved works, known from emblematic performances by artists of world renown. The audience will have the opportunity to enjoy classical masterpieces performed by legends such as Mario Lanza, Carlos Gardel, Placido Domingo, Jose Carreras and Luciano Pavarotti, and also to immerse themselves in the traditional rhythms and musical styles of Spain and Latin America - zarzuela, flamenco, tango and paso doble.

Guest soloists

Among the guest soloists who will join Sinfonietta-Vratsa are some of the brightest names on the Bulgarian music scene. The audience will be able to enjoy the performances of one of the leading Bulgarian tenors, Mario Nikolov, as well as the mastery of the guitar of Prof. Tsvetan Nedyalkov. They are joined by the talented students from the National Music Academy "Prof. Pancho Vladigerov", Vesela Todorova and Sinem Zıran. The conductor of the tour will be the director of Sinfonietta-Vratsa, Hristo Pavlov.

"The concert is for a wider audience. We have tried to make a mix of the most popular works, many of which are made with a classical orchestra and with opera voices, and now we have included two girls with pop and jazz singing. We sing in three parts at certain moments, which is very beautiful in itself. And with Professor Tsvetan Nedyalkov, with his ringing guitar, and with the special arrangements written for this concert by Hristo Pavlov and Ventsi Mitov, I think that a wonderful musical palette is created" – said Mario Nikolov about the upcoming event.

Prof. Tsvetan Nedyalkov added that in addition to well-known works, the audience will have the opportunity to hear his own music. "There will also be surprises, in addition to the famous Guitar and Orchestra Concerto 'Aranjuez' by Joaquin Rodrigo, there will also be my own music, which is a mixture of flamenco, Bulgarian folklore, jazz elements and is very interesting in combination with the orchestra. It just turns out great and it's very exciting for me", shared the musician.

The guest soloists did not hide their satisfaction to participate in this project precisely with Sinfonietta-Vratsa. "Both Tsvetan and I are not working with the Sinfonietta and Hristo Pavlov for the first time, and we are delighted with the orchestra. Indeed, these are very talented young musicians and it is a pleasure for us, because the future is in the hands of the young, they are yet to delight the audience and will continue our work", said Mario Nikolov. Prof. Nedyalkov added that, in his opinion, the Vratsa orchestra is currently one of the best in Bulgaria. "Congratulations to Hristo Pavlov, who managed to make such an orchestra within a few years", he emphasized.

The tour of "The Music of Spain and Latin America" promises to be an unforgettable experience for all music lovers in Bulgaria. The first concert will take place tonight in Kardzhali, in the House of Culture. The atmosphere in the hall is electrified, and the expectations of the audience are high. The next stops in the musical marathon are Nessebar on October 28, in the Community Center (NC) "Yana Laskova-1905", Sliven on October 29, in NC "Zora", Pazardzhik on October 30, in the Concert Hall "Maestro G.Atanasov", and the finale in Vratsa on October 31, in the city concert hall.
