Three evenings of short films from around the world will fill the Petya Dubarova hall at the Sea Casino Culture Centre between October 8 and 10, as part of the ninth Port Prime Art Fest in Burgas. The screen will show feature, animated and experimental films from Europe, Asia, Australia and Canada. Entry is free.

The programme was put together with the international short film festival "Karantinata" and its director, Georgi Krastev, who picked the films himself from this year's edition of the festival in Varna. Viewers will see stories from different countries and genres, all tied together by the way short films tell a story fast but still look rich on screen.

On Thursday, October 8, from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, the programme includes:

All films come with Bulgarian subtitles, and entry to the Petya Dubarova hall at the Sea Casino Culture Centre is completely free.

The ninth Port Prime Art Fest will run from October 7 to 10, 2026. It is organised by the Grand Hotel and Spa Primoretz, with support from Burgas municipality. Every year the festival draws audiences with current names and works from different fields of art.

The event is part of the cultural programme backing Burgas's bid to become European Capital of Culture in 2032.
