The third ANTEA RUN, which organisers call Bulgaria's first obstacle half marathon, will take place in Sozopol on 10 April 2027. Registration opens in October 2026.

The 2027 race will have a new route and new obstacles, and organisers promise it will be better run. Sozopol municipality backs the event.

The idea for ANTEA RUN came two years ago. The first race was held in 2025 and the second in 2026. Organisers say the 2027 race should settle the identity of the event for good.

Organisers say they chose Sozopol for its sea, history, wild terrain, wind and tough conditions. They call the town "part of the DNA of this event".

They describe the half marathon as a test of character, where runners push past their personal limits and feel part of a community. They want to build a culture that is more than a race.

The event is aimed at people who do not take the easy path and do not give up, organisers say. They say these runners seek victory over their own limits, not just a medal.
