Burgas Art Gallery "Petko Zadgorski_ will become the center of the city"s cultural life on October 1, 2025, when the VIII Port Prim Art Fest will be officially opened.
From 5:30 PM, the gallery"s doors will open to the public to enjoy an exceptionally rich and diverse exhibition, promising an unforgettable experience for art connoisseurs.
Participants
The exhibition will feature works by seven exceptionally talented Bulgarian artists: Gergana Nikolova, Anabel Hamamdjieva, Liliana Alexandrova, Rafail Georgiev "Rafo_, Tsvetan Krastev, Stefan Churuliev, and Stefan Bozhkov, who is also the festival"s creative director.
Remarkably, all artists will attend the opening, providing visitors with a unique opportunity to meet them, discuss their works, and immerse themselves in the world of contemporary Bulgarian visual arts.
Works
Among the exhibited artists, we will discover a variety of styles and techniques.
- Gergana Nikolova " PhD in Art History from the Painting Department of the National Academy of Arts, lives and works in Sofia.
- Anabel Hamamdjieva " graduated in painting from the NAA and the National School of Fine Arts "Ilia Petrov_, currently studying in the "Visual Communication_ master"s program at the same academy.
- Liliana Alexandrova " Master of Painting from the NAA, will present her delicate and sensual works inspired by nature, the human body, and transience.
- Rafail Georgiev " Rafo " sculptor, PhD in Art History and Visual Arts, will present four of his sculptures.
- Tsvetan Krastev " works in the field of land art, conceptual art, performance, installations, objects, and video art.
- Stefan Churuliev " graduated in painting from the Art High School in Sofia and design from the New Bulgarian University.
- Stefan Bozhkov " painter, graphic artist, sculptor, creates spatial installations, works as a set designer and illustrator.
The opening will be attended by officials from the local government and representatives of Grand Hotel and SPA Primorsko " the festival organizer. The exhibition will remain open to the public until October 14, 2025, with free admission. On the opening day, from 6:30 PM, in the same gallery, television presenter Radina Chervenova will present her book "Before I Wasn"t There".
