Orlin Goranov in concert "Revelations" on August 24 in Burgas

Burgas is preparing for an exciting musical evening with the concert "Sakroveniya" (Treasured), which will take place on August 24 at 8:30 PM at the Summer Theater. The event is organized by the cultural organization "Art Melpomene" in collaboration with the Music and Drama Theater "Konstantin Kisimov" from Veliko Tarnovo.

The central figure of the concert will be the beloved Bulgarian singer Orlin Goranov, known for his unique voice that skillfully combines classical and contemporary music. Goranov will lead the audience on an emotional journey through his most treasured musical memories and favorite performances.

The conductor's baton will be entrusted to Georgi Patrikov and Vasil Valchev, and the host of the evening will be Tsvetelin Ilchev. Joining Orlin Goranov on stage will be talented soloists such as Teodora Petrova, Miryana Kalushkova, Ching Fang He, Mihail Mihaylov, Gergana Stoyanova, and Maria Pavlova. The orchestra of MDT "K. Kisimov" from Veliko Tarnovo will provide musical accompaniment, with concertmaster Maria Pavlova.

Rich Musical Program

The program promises a rich musical experience with works by world-renowned composers such as Leoncavallo, Lehár, Curtis, Gardel, Nino Rota, Cesare Bixio, Lucio Dalla, David Foster, and Domenico Modugno. Bulgarian music will also be represented with works by Razvigor Nakov, Rumen Boyadzhiev, Dimitar Valchev, and Milcho Gudishki.

The concert will begin with an orchestral performance of the suite from the movie "The Godfather", followed by iconic songs such as "Parla piu piano", "Core ngrato", "Mattinata", and "Mamma". The audience will have the opportunity to hear popular arias from the operetta "The Land of Smiles", as well as timeless hits like "Caruso" and "Con te partiro".

The second part of the concert will be dedicated to Bulgarian pop music with performances of beloved songs such as "To a Woman", "Don't Look at Me Like That, Boy", "What I Wouldn't Give You", "A Bulgarian Rose", and "Whether".
