Opera Galaxy in Burgas: Audio-Visual Spectacle

On November 13th, the State Opera – Burgas will transform into the epicenter of an exceptional cultural event, promising to revolutionize the perception of musical art. Prepare yourselves for "Opera Galaxy", a grandiose audio-visual spectacle that will open new horizons for all art connoisseurs.

It's not just a concert. This is a unique combination that, for the first time, unites opera, classical music, and innovative 3D mapping in an unforgettable cosmic experience.

In the first part of the spectacle, the audience will enjoy some of the most emblematic arias from the world opera heritage. Works by Verdi, Puccini, Mozart, and Handel will be performed, featuring soprano Maria Slavova. Her voice is described as "a galaxy in itself – vast, exciting, and penetrating deep into the soul". The arrangements are by Maestro Georgi Cherkin, a pianist and composer with international recognition. Known for his ability to transform classics into contemporary art, Maestro Cherkin promises a musical journey through time and space. On stage will also be the talents of "The Secret Orchestra", who, with their emotional charge, will breathe new life into the familiar arias, turning them into musical galaxies.

In the second part of the concert, Georgi Cherkin's original project – "Galactic Fantasy" – will be presented. The music will merge with the visual magic of Elektrick Me – world leaders in 3D mapping. The stage will become a living canvas of galaxies, constellations, and light images, synchronized with the music. Through 3D mapping, the opera will come to life, turning every note into a burst of light, every movement – into a part of a cosmic narrative.

The organizers have also prepared an additional surprise for the audience. Paintings from the latest collection of the internationally recognized Burgas artist Georgi Andonov will be integrated into the 3D mapping projection. The artist's works will come alive on stage as a kind of virtual exhibition, in sync with the music and light. In addition, the audience will have the opportunity to enjoy a live exhibition of Georgi Andonov's works, which will be located in the opera's foyer especially for the evening of the concert.

The event is organized by the "Young Talent" Foundation, which tirelessly works to support and develop young artists and innovative cultural projects. The event is realized with the financial support of the Ministry of Culture and the support of Burgas Municipality, which once again proves that culture is an integral part of the city's identity.

The concert also has a charitable mission. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the "Viva80 Bulgarienhilfe" Association, which for over 30 years has been supporting and caring for children in disadvantaged situations and children with serious illnesses. "Opera Galaxy" is becoming not only a celebration of art but also an act of compassion.

The event supports Burgas' candidacy for European Capital of Culture 2032.
