On May 29 at 5:30 pm, an exhibition titled "The Magic of Plein-Air Painting - The Sea" will be opened at the "Atelier R" gallery in Burgas. The exhibition will present paintings by students from grades 8 to 12 of the National Art High School "Dimitar Dobrovich" in Sliven, whose main inspiration is the sea. The event is organized by BNR-Burgas in order to support the like-minded school in Tryavna, whose National School of Applied Arts "Tryavna School" suffered a fire in early April.
In addition to the plein-air works, the possibilities of the art high school in the three specialties - "Artistic Weaving", "Advertising Graphics" and "Icon Painting" will also be presented. Parallel to this, for the first time, Toma Shopov, a former radio technician for whom the hobby has become a cause, will present his rich collection of restored retro radios. The exhibits will include antique German models from World War II, authentic "Tesla" and "Grundig", as well as devices from the Burgas factory "Tulan", founded in 1927.
