"Official Statistics" exhibition comes to Burgas

On July 1, 2026, the National Statistical Institute (NSI) and the Municipality of Burgas invite residents and guests of the city to the official opening of the "Official Statistics" exhibition. The event will take place at 11:00 a.m. in front of the "Sea Casino" Cultural Center in the Sea Garden.

The exhibition marks the 146th anniversary of the establishment of the NSI and reveals the key role of data in the development of Bulgarian society.

What will you see in the exhibition?

  • 24 thematic panels in Bulgarian and English.
  • An overview of the most significant projects and digital resources of the NSI from the last three years.
  • Information on the role of statistics in the socio-economic life of the country.
  • Highlights on work with young people and international cooperation.

Play and win with the NSI

Visitors can take part in the interactive "Scan and Win" game. To participate in the raffle for attractive prizes, you must:

  • Take a selfie in front of the exhibition panels.
  • Answer questions in the quiz related to the digital tools of statistics.

Photos and answers are accepted until August 9 and July 31, 2026, respectively. The results will be announced on the official NSI website on August 19, 2026. The exhibition will remain open to visitors until the end of July.
