Nessebar welcomes 70 performers and 22 ensembles to the International Folklore Festival "Nessebar Jewelry"

The upcoming XI International Folklore Festival "Nessebar Jewelry" will be held from June 6 to 8 in Nessebar. The event is organized by the People's Cultural Center "Yana Laskova - 1905" and the Municipality of Nessebar. Over 70 individual performers and 22 vocal, instrumental and dance ensembles from Bulgaria and Turkey will participate in the forum, presenting authentic and processed folklore.

The official opening of the festival will be on Friday, June 6, at 6 pm at the amphitheater in the Old Town of Nessebar. On Sunday, June 8, at the same place, a gala concert and the closing of the event will take place with the special participation of the folk singer Rumyana Popova.

The festival performances will be held on two stages - at the NC "Yana Laskova - 1905" and at the "Zhana Chimbuleva" Amphitheater. The performances will be evaluated by a jury composed of: Dimitar Hristov - conductor of the Orchestra for Folk Music of BNR, Prof. Dr. Dora Hristova - conductor of the vocal ensemble "Mystery of the Bulgarian Voices", Prof. Dr. Katya Kayryakova - lecturer in the specialty "Choreography" at VFU "Chernorizets Hrabar", Danislav Kehayov - folk singer, director of the United Municipal School of Arts and Folklore Ensemble "Sunny Beach".

The "Nessebar Jewelry" Festival has established itself as a significant international event, combining traditions and modernity and attracting participants from different countries, who present the cultural heritage of their peoples. Second day - June 7 (Saturday):

Third day - June 8 (Sunday):
11:00 - 12:00 - Jury conference with the leaders of the vocal and instrumental ensembles - NC "Yana Laskova - 1905", Nessebar
12:00 - 13:00 - Jury conference with the leaders of the dance ensembles - NC "Yana Laskova - 1905", Nessebar
18:00 - Awards, Gala Concert and Closing of the Festival with the special participation of the folk singer Rumyana Popova - "Zhana Chimbuleva" Amphitheater, Nessebar.
