On July 31 at 6:00 PM, the First Burgas Art Gallery "Petko Zadgorski" will open an impressive exhibition of paintings by the talented Bulgarian artist Nadya Petrova, titled "Landscape Poetry".

Petrova's creative world represents an extremely complex and harmonious combination of colors, forms, and emotional suggestions. Her canvases are a true challenge to aesthetic perception, combining contrasting artistic techniques – gentleness and decisiveness, calmness and passion.

For Nadya Petrova, landscape is not just a depiction of natural scenes, but a deep philosophical comprehension of the surrounding world. She views each landscape as a fragmentary structure, filled with inner drama and hidden narrative. Her compositions masterfully unite mountain, urban, and rural spaces, presented through her personal vision.

A characteristic feature of her style is the exceptionally complex color palette. Petrova does not simply apply colors, but layers, overlaps, and sometimes even scrapes them, creating multilayered visual messages. From saturated bordeaux and carmine shades to delicate autumn ochres, from cream-green to ultramarine – each color is the result of a precise creative experiment.

Her compositions possess a remarkable rhythm, reminiscent of the music of her native land. They simultaneously evoke European landscapes from Tuscany while bearing an authentic Bulgarian signature. Each canvas is balanced with exceptional precision, creating a sense of dynamics and tension, as if capturing a quiet ocean of emotions.

Whether working with interiors, still life, or open landscapes, Nadya Petrova always manages to convey a deep philosophical understanding of global harmony. Her works provoke the viewer towards an inner dialogue, reflection, and tranquility.

Born in 1963 in Stara Zagora, the artist has a remarkable creative biography. Since 1996, she has been working with ceramics, and since 2000, she has dedicated herself entirely to painting. In her creative career, Petrova has realized over 30 solo exhibitions and participates in numerous national and international art forums.

Her creative path includes participation in prestigious exhibitions in Bulgaria and abroad – from the Hungarian Cultural Center in Sofia to international symposiums in Austria. Among her notable appearances are participations in the "Friends of the Sea" Biennale in Burgas, national exhibitions in Sofia, Plovdiv, and other cities.

Nadya Petrova has received numerous professional recognitions, including nominations for painting at the "Friends of the Sea" Biennale in 2014 and national awards. Her paintings are part of permanent exhibitions in city and private galleries.

The upcoming exhibition "Landscape Poetry" promises to be a true experience for art lovers. Through her canvases, Nadya Petrova will immerse visitors in an intimate, emotional world, filled with beauty, philosophy, and deep aesthetic sense.

The exhibition will be opened on July 31 at 6:00 PM at the First Burgas Art Gallery "Petko Zadgorski". Entrance is free for all who wish to touch the magic of contemporary Bulgarian painting.
