Young genius inventor joins the Marvel Cinematic Universe with the new series "Ironheart".

The expected new Marvel Television series "Ironheart" will introduce fans to Dominique Thorne in the role of Riri Williams - a young, brilliant inventor whose iron suits rival the best in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The character made her debut in the film "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever" (2022), directed by Ryan Coogler.

According to Coogler, "Ironheart is a great character in the comics". Riri Williams is an MIT student who comes from a completely different world than Tony Stark, but the two are united by the desire to improve society. Ultimately, she creates her own identity as Ironheart, and other authors like Eve Ewing continue her story, sending Riri back to Chicago.

The series is set after the events of "Black Panther: Wakanda Forever", where Riri, determined to leave her mark on the world, returns to her hometown of Chicago. Her unique approach to creating iron suits is brilliant, but in her pursuit of her dreams, she finds herself in the company of the mysterious and charismatic Parker Robbins, also known as "The Hood" (played by Anthony Ramos).

The series also stars Lyric Ross, Alden Ehrenreich, Regan Aliya, Muni Musa, Matthew Elam, and Angelique Oneal. The head writer is Chinaka Hodge, and the episode directors are Sam Bailey and Angela Barnes. Executive producers are Kevin Feige, Louis D'Esposito, Brad Winderbaum, Zoie Nagelhout, Chinaka Hodge, Ryan Coogler, Sev Ohanian, and Zinzi Coogler. The music is composed by Dara Taylor.
