Miroslava Kolarova presents the exhibition "Light-Dark" in Burgas

On May 20, 2025, in the "Hristo Fotev" Hall of the "Morsko Kazino" Cultural Center in Burgas, the exhibition "Light-Dark" by the artist Miroslava Kolarova will be opened. The vernissage will take place from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm and is organized by the Municipality of Burgas. The exhibition presents 26 works - photographs and paintings created in a mixed technique (watercolor, chalk, pastel). The works are a visual poem that unites light and shadow, tenderness and strength, reality and emotion. The photographs are raw and intimate, the fruit of natural light and organic closeness. The paintings sometimes appear as a continuation of the photographs, and at other times sharply contrast with color clashes, like inner outbursts, opposing the balanced silence of the lens. The naked female body is Miroslava Kolarova's favorite theme - not as a provocation, but as a deep human and emotional form. Her works do not ask to be looked at, but insist on being understood. Behind every frame and every line is an emotion reflecting the author's life battles and inner breakdowns. Miroslava Kolarova is one of the twin sisters of the composer Ivan Kolarov, author of the hit "Burgaski Vecheri". She is a poet, photographer, artist, makeup artist and aesthete who does not obey the rules, but rewrites them. Her works interweave eroticism and tenderness, strength and fragility, seduction and contemplation, building an amazing inner balance. All funds raised from the sale of the works will be directed towards Miroslava's recovery after a complicated knee operation. The necessary therapies are long-term, and the support is priceless. Every purchased work is a real contribution to a recovery in which the body, spirit and art struggle together. The cause is supported by the Municipality of Burgas.
