The "Volga Bulgars" Association organizes a large-scale international event that will turn the Historical Park in Neophyte Rilski Village into an epicenter of traditions and cultural exchange on August 30 and 31, 2025.
The "Sabantuy-Bulgaria" Festival presents an exceptional opportunity for a meeting of communities from different countries – Bulgaria, Italy, Hungary, France, Albania, and regions with Bulgarian heritage.
Visitors will be able to immerse themselves in a variety of experiences: culinary demonstrations by master chefs, a farmers market with authentic products, and a rich cultural program with musical and dance performances.
Sports competitions will include traditional disciplines such as folk wrestling, Canadian wrestling, weightlifting, and chess. Additional attractions include children's workshops, archery, and birds of prey demonstrations.
The ancient holiday "Sabantuy" revives the agricultural traditions of Volga Bulgaria, becoming a symbol of community solidarity, diligence, and respect for the natural cycle.
The organizers invite everyone to become part of this unique event, which turns cuisine and folklore into a bridge between different cultures and generations.
Admission is free, and the program covers two days with different time intervals – on August 30 from 10:00 to 22:00 and on August 31 from 09:00 to 18:00.
