Jubilee Celebration of Bulgarian Folklore in Burgas

On May 17 at 6:30 PM, the NHK Cultural Center in Burgas will become the stage for a special event – the jubilee benefit concert "A Girl's Dream." The spectacle is dedicated to the 40-year creative and pedagogical career of the beloved choreographer Tsvetana Tsagova.

"A Girl's Dream" is not just a concert, but a story about the love for Bulgarian traditions and the mission to preserve them.

What to expect from the spectacle?

The concert will present the journey of a child who turns her passion for folklore into a calling. The program combines artistic and educational value, highlighting the role of dance in building identity and values.

Generations of Tsvetana Tsagova's students – the creator of the "Miladina" ensemble and an innovator in folk dance teaching methodologies – will gather on stage. The program will feature:

• "Bratya Miladinovi" Primary School – Burgas
• "Miladina" Dance and Majorette Ensemble
• Vocal Group "Biserni Manista" and Folk Singing Group "Shareno Glasche"
• Professional Folklore Ensemble "Strandzha" and "Kanatitsa" Orchestra
• Friends and associates from the "Prof. Pancho Vladiguerov" National School of Music and Stage Arts and the "Neftohimik 2011" Cultural and Sports Association

Event Information

The event is organized with the support of the Municipality of Burgas. Admission is free, and zero-value invitations can be collected from the "Chasovnika" (The Clock) box office.
