The renowned Bulgarian diplomat and journalist Nicholas Kralev returns to Burgas to present his new book "Diplomatic Skills".
The event will take place on September 26th at 6:30 PM in the city"s Center for Contemporary Art and Library.
This is an exceptional opportunity for the residents of Burgas to meet one of the few Bulgarians who have had the privilege of looking behind the scenes of global diplomacy.
Kralev, a former correspondent for reputable publications such as the Financial Times and The Washington Times, possesses extensive experience in both journalism and diplomacy.
He has traveled the world with four US Secretaries of State – Hillary Clinton, Condoleezza Rice, Colin Powell, and Madeleine Albright – which has given him a unique perspective on the functioning of American foreign policy.
His deep knowledge of diplomatic processes is also reflected in his previous books – "Diplomatic Tradecraft" and "America"s Other Army", dedicated to the nuances of American diplomacy and its role on the world stage.
Currently, Kralev holds the position of Executive Director of the International Diplomatic Academy in Washington, where he trains hundreds of future diplomats.
During the presentation of his book, he will share his motivations for dedicating his career to journalism and diplomacy.
According to Kralev, two key historical events – the fall of the Berlin Wall and the September 11th attacks – were defining moments in his life.
"Diplomacy is a way of life, not just a profession", shares Kralev, emphasizing his belief that it represents the greatest hope for the world, a challenge to the destructive power of war.
Kralev"s presentation is expected to be an inspiring discussion focused on the power of dialogue and the importance of diplomatic skills in a world marked by conflict.
The atmosphere in the Center for Contemporary Art will undoubtedly be filled with anticipation.
The event promises not only a book presentation but also valuable insights into the complex world of international relations.
